Georgian experts believe U.S. Vice-President Joseph Beiden's statement was mainly meant for Russia.
Expert Kakha Gogolashvili told journalists that Beiden's statement in Tbilisi testifies the United States' full support for Georgia's territorial integrity and these statements were made for Russia.
Political scientist Zurab Abashidze also supports this opinion.
"Biden's visit testifies that the United States supports Georgia's territorial integrity. At the same time, clear statements were made for Russia; the United States has no intention to recognize any country's influence sphere nor create an influence sphere of its own," he said.
