The Georgian Parliament as a part of planned optimization dismissed 75 employees and abolished 8 departments.

Optimization in the parliament took place under the Parliamentary Chair David Bakradze's orders dated July 17 which considers decrease of MPs from 230 to 150 as a reason of the optimization.

The special commission passed a decision to dismiss 75 employees, who were informed about this in written form on July 27. Final act on discharge will be publicized after a month and they have a right to appeal.
