British consulate passed laboratory of the English language to Georgian Border Police within the Peacekeeping English project (PEP) signed with Georgia on February 19.  

Laboratory is equipped with modern apparatus to study English and new manuals, border police said.

Purpose of the project is to assist Georgian frontier guards to perfect English to participate in the international peacekeeping operations.

Peacekeeping English project (PEP) is implemented in 35 countries, including Georgia.

British military attaché in South Caucasus, vice-colonel Nike Ridout, manager of the project Esther Hay, director of coastguard department of the Georgian border police, captain of the first rank Besik Shengelia and other officials participated in the ceremony to pass laboratory
