The Kesalo village of Georgian Gardaban region populated by Azerbaijanis and adjacent territories, thousands of hectares of agricultural crops, yards, the first floors of homes and buildings of villagers were flooded as a result of long downpours.
The villagers claim the Georgian authorities for paying damages caused by nature. The government has not cleaned the channels with water yet. Local Azerbaijanis said that it was reason for annual floods. Channels are polluted and water in the channel submerges the village failing to flow out.
As a result, disaster killed hundreds of livestock and poultry, the villagers said.
Representatives of regional authorities have assured farmers damaged during disaster that they will be provided with compensation for damage caused by nature.
