Gachechiladze and Ugulava have highest chance in becoming Tbilisi's mayor

The leader of the public movement 'Protect Georgia', Levan Gachechiladze, and the current mayor, Gigi Ugulava, have the highest chances in become mayor of Tbilisi in spring 2010. This was testified by a poll conducted among 391 participants by the weekly 'Kviris palitra'.

Levan Gachechiladze received 18.8 percent of the vote while the current mayor got 17.6 percent.

The rest of the candidates are further behind the leaders. The leader of the Labor Party, Shalva Natelashvili, and the leader of 'Our Georgia - Free Democrats', Irakli Alasania, got 6.6 percent, ranking third and fourth. 

5.5 percent of participants would like the current People's Defender of Georgia, Sozar Subari, to become mayor of Tbilisi. 

The rest of the candidates received 42.6 percent of the total vote. 2.3 percent of participants failed to answer.
