Azerbaijan is the most active member of the Council of Europe (CE) in the field of youth and sport, CE Director of Youth and Sport Affairs, Ralf-Rene Weingartner told journalists on Aug. 25.
"Azerbaijan always organizes innovative activities in the field of youth and takes concrete steps in the youth policy," he said.
On Aug. 20, a Summer School of the CE permanent committee on youth affairs opened in Baku. The school, which will last by Aug. 29, aims to expand Azerbaijan's international relations.
Weingartner said the events, organized in Azerbaijan in the field of youth and sport, are not only interesting, but also important and useful for both the Azerbaijani and European youth.
