New deputy ministers of economy appointed in Georgia

Ex-Deputy President of VTB Bank Georgia and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Zurab Alavidze, has been appointed as one of Georgia's deputy ministers for Economic Development.
The ministry said that Alavidze left the bank a year ago and continued studying in France at the University of Grenoble. He will deal with foreign trade in the Ministry of Economy.
Head of the Revenues Service, Grigol Gobejishvili, was appointed First Deputy Minister of Economy. Two other deputies, Sulkhan Sisauri and Uruzmag Karkusov, have remained in their positions. At present, one more position for deputy minister is vacant.
