In Tbilisi, in the third quarter of the Nutsubidze, extra construction work on a 9-storey building has collapsed. No casualties were reported. Head of the Emergency Situations Service, Temur Giorgadze said the people could flee their houses before the collapse.

The residents of the house state that they have heard a strong voice and the house shook. They fled the houses, thinking that the earthquake occurred.

The emergency situations service in Tbilisi reported that they had sent several teams of rescuers to the scene of incident.

The representatives of the City Hall said extra construction work was done on it in early 1990s without permission and engineer projects. Therefore it caused an emergency situation.

Moreover, the mayor of Tbilisi, at the request of several residents, dismantled a number of extra constructions, but most citizens do not want to lose extra feet of living space.
