On Sept. 24, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev attended a ceremony to mark the start of reconstruction of the Bilgah-Sumgayit motor highway, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Transport minister Ziya Mammadov told the President that the highway will be 39.6 kilometers in length. According to the minister, the road will have 6 lanes and maximum speed limit will be 120km/h.
The President chatted with constructors to give them recommendations concerning the quality of the construction work.
