Azerbaijan and Lithuania will sign a number of intergovernmental agreements diring the upcoming visit in October of the Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kazimiras Starkyavichyusa in Azerbaijan. This was said by the deputy chairman of the Lithuanian Seimas Ceslovas Stankevichus during his visit to Lankaran.

Azerbaijan and Lithuania will sign a number of intergovernmental agreements diring the upcoming visit in October of the Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kazimiras Starkyavichyus in Azerbaijan. This was said by the deputy chairman of the Lithuanian Seimas Ceslovas Stankevichus during his visit to Lankaran.

"We intend to continue cooperation with the Parliament of Azerbaijan in the implementation of number of European projects. This will facilitate the convergence of Azerbaijan with the European Union", - he said.

The group of representatives led by him visited the city executive. Chief Executive of Lankaran Suleiman Mikailov informed the guests about the existing capacity of the district. Ceslovas Stankevichus said about the interest to invest in agricultural and tourism industries in Lankaran. "Our state is interested in cooperation in the region. Agricultural products and fruits of this zone is known. We will recommend to the government and entrepreneurs of our country to invest in this industry", - he said.
