Azerbaijani opposition parties have not intellectual potential to prepare a document on cooperation, said the chairman of the Green Party of Azerbaijan (GPA).

"Political parties must form coalitions on the basis of cooperation document. The document on cooperation must indicate the goals of the coalition, responsibility of parties, working plan, measures. The opposition parties do not build cooperation based on a document so that they do not take responsibility," GPA chairman Mayis Gulaliyev told Trend on Sept. 28.

The Civil Movement for Karabakh and the Republic was established on the eve of the referendum held on March 18. The Popular Front of Azerbaijan, the Citizen and Development Party, Liberal Party, Democratic Party, the Musavat and Umid parties, as well as a number of public organizations, are represented in the Civil Movement for Karabakh and the Republic.

According Gulaliyev, Azerbaijani opposition does not have purpose to be the opposition.
"The goals of the Movement for Karabakh and Republic, which represents opposition parties, are unknown. Coalitions with unclear goals are fragmented and created in order to act in the press. The aim of the opposition should not be to come to power," said the chairman of GPA.

Azerbaijani Green Party was created in 2007. The party has not passed state registration in the ministry of justice.
