The Kazakhstan Assembly of Nations has reported that roughly 3,000 Kazakhs live in Saudi Arabia, Kazakh Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ilyas Omarov told Trend .
A meeting with the Kazakh Diaspora in Saudi Arabia was held as part of a reception given by the Kazakh Embassy on the occasion of fortieth anniversary of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Omarov said.
"Diaspora representatives were made familiar with legal and economic aspects about resettling Kazakhs to their motherland, as well as the state 'Nurli Kosh' migration program," he said.
OIC management were presented with an Arabic translation of the book "Kazakhstan's Way," written by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
