Georgia has reported 10 new cases of the swine flu in 24 hours, National Disease Control Center head Paata Imnadze said. The Georgian Health Ministry confirmed the information.
Yesterday Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili said 38 swine flu cases had been found in the country.
Last week, the government adopted a program to respond to the swine flu pandemic.
According to unofficial information, a Ukrainian MP attending GUAM was also infected with A/H1N1. The head of the Ukrainian delegation confirmed that a female member of the group fell ill yesterday and was taken to the hospital. The result of the analysis is unknown, he said.
