The visit of the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan to Qatar was postponed. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov's official visit to Qatar was postponed to a later time, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to this country, Eldar Selimov, told Trend .
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister's visit to Qatar was scheduled for November 23-24, Qatar Embassy in Baku told Trend formerly.
It was expected that during the visit discussions will be held on prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar in the political and economic spheres. Minister's visit was postponed at the request of the Qatari side in connection with the season of pilgrimage - Hajj and the upcoming Gurban Holiday, the Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told Trend .
He said the new date for the visit will be agreed through diplomatic channels. Probably it will take place in the end of this - the beginning of next year, said Polukhov.
