The U.S. offered Uzbekistan to hold bilateral consultations in December, the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent reported.

Uzbekistan accepted the U.S. proposal to send a large delegation to Washington to launch the annual bilateral consultations on a wide range of issues.

This agreement was reached during Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs George Krol's Tashkent visit.  

During his visit, Krol met with Deputy Prime Minister Elyor Ganiev, Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov, Ombudsman Sayer Rashidova and Uzbekneftegaz leadership.
