On Dec.1, 2009, Deputy Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia Anita Schluchter was summoned to the Georgian Foreign Ministry. The Georgian side passed a note of protest to the Swiss diplomat for the following submission of the note to the Russian side in connection with the criminal acts committed by Russia within November 2009.

Besides, the Deputy Ambassador was submitted notes of protest concerning killing of citizen of Georgia E. Gurtskaja by the Moscow militia on Nov.23 and kidnapping of citizen of Georgia R. Makasarashvili from the village of Perevi on Nov.29, 2009, the ministry reported.

At the meeting, Georgia once again underlined that, despite repeated efforts of the international organizations, Russian occupants and their proxy regimes still hold four minor citizens of Georgia captive.

The Georgian side expressed its strong protest over these criminal acts committed by the Russian side that represent the gross violation of the Constitution, the 12 August seize-fire agreement and the universally recognized norms and principles of international law.
