The CE obligations fulfilled by Georgia are according to the plan, CE Director General for Political Affairs Jan-Lui Loran said at a final briefing yesterday.
He said that many obligations have been already fulfilled. Loran positively appreciated the reform which has been held in the court system and law-enforcement bodies. But he also noted that much work must be done in these areas.
"I am grateful to the Georgian Government for assistance in carrying out this mission. Most of the obligations have already been made, although there are several issues that must be solved. These issues include Mesheti Turks' return to Georgia and integration of ethnic minorities. We got a promise that the obligations will be fulfilled. The operations are underway in this direction.
