Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to Mahinda Rajapaksa on his reelection as President of Sri Lanka, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The Head of the State expressed confidence "we will continue our joint efforts to develop and expand friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Sri Lanka".
President Ilham Aliyev wished Mahinda Rajapaksa robust health, happiness and successes in his activities for the welfare of the friendly people of Sri Lanka.
