Slovak President to visit Kazakhstan soon

Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan in late of March 2010, Slovak Ambassador
Dusan Podhorski said.
"The purpose of the meeting of the Slovak delegation with the leadership of Kazakhstan's transport department is to discuss issues in preparation for the official visit of the
Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic to Kazakhstan in late of March," Podhorski said during a meeting with the Transport and Communications Minister of Kazakhstan Abelgazy Kussainov.
The Slovak side has proposed to consider the draft of a joint production of shuttle buses (suburban) on the basis of the Almaty wagon factory and Slovak company.
"Moreover, our side has proposed to consider establishing a joint factory to produce intelligent systems for road and rail transport industries, as well as the opportunities of transportation designing organizations while working over the transcontinental corridor project," Slovak diplomat said.
By completing the meeting, head of transport department Kussainov noted that Kazakhstan is interested in the development of Kazakh-Slovak long-term cooperation in the field of transport, and all projects should be aimed at launching the production in Kazakhstan.
"The first step can be the signing of the memorandum within the Slovak President's visit to Kazakhstan," Kazakh minister said.
