The great progress, which Georgia achieved, is seen in the U.S. State Department report. Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili claimed it at his Dusheti visit. He was commenting on the State Department's an annual report on the human rights situation worldwide.

According to Saakashvili, the report is critical about all countries, including highly developed.

"Nevertheless, the report mirrors great progress achieved by Georgia," the president said.

"Our achievements are not questioned even by hostile countries against us," Saakashvili underscored.

The situation in Georgia, in terms of protecting human rights, was critically assessed in the report.
