The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission International Relations Department head Rovzat Gasimov will participate in a workshop "Election observation with use of electronic voting", to be held in Oslo March 18-19, the Commission told Trend .
The purpose of the workshop, organized by the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Regional Development of Norway, is to prepare the project which combines the standards and rules on elections monitoring, which used electronic voting. This workshop is held in connection with the supervision of the elections, which use electronic voting. It is the first meeting, where specialists from different countries meet.
Central Election Commission took part in the development of standards for electronic voting. Discussion have been conducted since 2003.
