Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Vice Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Hoang Trung Hai, the press service of Azerbaijani Foreign ministry reported.
Vice Prime Minister said that the Vietnamese students studied in Azerbaijan, are now contributing to the development process in his country, and spoke about the existence of huge potentials for strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
In his turn, Mammadyarov said that such visits give impetus to the intensification of relations between the two countries, create opportunities for expansion of ties in education, chemistry, culture and other fields.
Upon the conclusion of the meeting Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Quoc Kyong signed a document on visa-free regime for citizens with diplomatic, service or official passports between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Protocol of cooperation between Ministries of Azerbaijan Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
