Azerbaijan will hold an event to mark the 90th anniversary of the Turkish Parliament.
Turkish Deputy Parliamentary Speaker Nevzat Pakdil also will attend the conference to be held May 24.
The Turkish delegation led by Pakdil will comprise Parliament Secretary General Sadettin Kalkan, Turkey - Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group Head Mustafa Kabakci, Head of the Turkish delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Alaaltin Boyukkaya and others," the Turkic-speaking countries Parliamentary Assembly (TurkPA) reported.
The conference will discuss the TurkPA's role in the development of parliamentary diplomacy, the interaction between the legislative and other issues. "The office of the TurkPA international secretariat also will be opened in the parliament May 24," the source reported.
