Uzbek FM condemns Israel's attack on humanitarian convoy of ships

The Uzbek Foreign Ministry made an official statement about the incident in the Mediterranean Sea.

"Uzbekistan apprehended the Israeli navy's attack on international humanitarian flotilla of ships with deep concern and alarm," the ministry stated.

The statement stressed that "condemning this tragic incident which caused the casualties, the Uzbek side expects an early resolution of the situation by lifting the blockade of Gaza by Israel and calls to fully implement the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council."

"Uzbekistan considers it necessary to prevent an increase in tension and violence that could have unpredictable consequences," the statement says.
