Azerbaijan's Oguz region hosts international training courses "The youths' role in the settlement of peace and conflict management."
The courses organized by the Public Union Ireli (NGO) with the support of the Youth and Sport Directorate of the Council of Europe and the Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Ministry brought together 34 young researchers from 20 countries, the association reported.
Unions Head Jeyhun Osmanli said the participants are specialized in international relations, and in particular, carry out research in areas of conflict, which is very important.
Oguz Region Executive Power Head Aydin Alihuseynov informed the participants about the importance of the role of the young people in solving world conflicts.
Noting the intensity of development processes taking place in the country, Alihuseynov said Azerbaijan is a model of tolerance as a whole.
