Georgian Embassy in Germany moves to center of Berlin

The Georgian Embassy in Germany will move to the center of Berlin. Roughly 2.6 million lari ($1 = 1.86 lari) will be allocated for the move, Deputy Finance Minister Papunya Petriashvili said while reviewing changes to the 2010 budget in parliament.

The Georgian Embassy in Germany will move to the center of Berlin. Roughly 2.6 million lari ($1 = 1.86 lari) will be allocated for the move, Deputy Finance Minister Papunya Petriashvili said while reviewing changes to the 2010 budget in parliament.

Now the embassy is located on the outskirts of the German capital.

The funds will used together with the amount received from selling the existing embassy to acquire the new building.
