World Bank's (WB) vice-president in Europe and Central Asia, Philippe Le Houerou pay a three-day visit to Georgia, the World Bank's Georgian office said.

World Bank's (WB) vice-president in Europe and Central Asia, Philippe Le Houerou pay a three-day visit to Georgia, the World Bank's Georgian office said.

"The visit aims at considering an issue to assist in Georgia's economic development", the Office said.  The WB mission members will meet with leaders of the country, government officials, development partners, business representatives and civil society.

"I'm glad that I see recovery after the economic crisis in Georgia. We should work together to help strengthen the bases fro this development and help create jobs," Philippe Le Houerou said.

During the visit Le Houerou will get acquainted with the projects funded by the WB in connection with the construction of the East-West highway, accommodation of internally displaced persons, the object of primary health care, the Center for single assessment and central electricity dispatching.
