Due to the hot weather in Azerbaijan, a special regime has been declared in military units, the Defence Ministry's spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu told Trend today.
"Due to the hot weather the soldiers of military units are in the barracks from 11:00 to 17:00. In this regard, the Ministry of Defence signed a corresponding order," Sabiroglu said.
He said, this is done to protect soldiers and officers from the consequences of being under the hot sun, and above all, from sunstroke.
Last week the temperature in the territory of Azerbaijan increased.
In some regions of Azerbaijan, air temperature will rise to 39 degrees June 16, the National Hydrometeorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources said today.
