Azerbaijan delegation participated in a special session of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the fight against transnational organized crime, said in the press release of Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN.
The Azerbaijan delegation led by Deputy Interior Minister V. Eyvazov consist from Deputy Attorney General R. Usubov, chairman of the judicial collegium of the Supreme Court on military courts Sh.Yusifov and officer of the National Central Bureau of Interpol E. Orudzhev.
Head of the Delegation V. Eyvazov described the activities carried out in the country to struggle against human trafficking, drug trafficking, arms smuggling, illegal migration and other crimes. Also the head of the delegation spoke about the cooperation of Azerbaijan with the countries of the world community, international and regional organizations in this field, talked about efforts to improve national legislation.
