The Georgian government discussed amendments to the law on the structure, powers and activities of the Cabinet of Ministers at today's meeting. The amendments provide for the structural changes in the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Georgian government discussed amendments to the law on the structure, powers and activities of the Cabinet of Ministers at today's meeting. The amendments provide for the structural changes in the Cabinet of Ministers.

This fact is confirmed by the chancellery of government.

Consultations are held due to changes. The decision on this matter will be known in coming days. It will be disucssed at an extraordinary session of the parliament on Friday.

"Based on the priorities of the government, it is necessary to make structural changes. In this regard, consultations are under way. After the bill takes final shape, this will be officially announced," the Parliamentary Secretary to the Government Georgi Khuroshvili said.

As a result of structural changes, personnel changes will be implemented. Several ministries will be united.

Individual government agencies will be abolished. However, ministers prefer not to talk about specifics.
