Azerbaijani Opposition Party fills up candidates’ list for parliamentary elections

The opposition party Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) approved a list of more 10 people who will attend the parliamentary elections. Number of candidates for parliamentary elections reached 61 people, Hesret Rustamov, ADP first deputy chairman told Trend .

The opposition party Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) approved a list of more 10 people who will attend the parliamentary elections. Number of candidates for parliamentary elections reached 61 people, Hesret Rustamov, ADP first deputy chairman told Trend .

Azerbaijani parliamentary elections will be held in autumn 2010. Earlier, the elections were held in November 2005. Azerbaijani parliamentary elections are held on a majority system in 125 constituencies.

The party was founded in Nakhchivan in 1991. It was registered in the Ministry of Justice March 14, 1993.
