A fire in the building of the Georgian Defence Ministry in Tbilisi has been eliminated. Tbilisi Emergency Situations Service, there was no fire, but there was only a strong smokescreen, which caused panic.
Fifteen fire engines were involved in the scene and the area around the Defence Ministry's building was surrounded by police patrols. The Defense Ministry's employees were evacuated and still can not enter the building.
According to the Service, it turned out that a strong smoke was emerged in the ventilation system due to conducting incorrect welding operations.
