Azerbaijan, Baku, July 14 / Trend S. Suleymanov /

A comprehensive program of humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan is being implemented under the coordination of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov told Trend.

"Kazakhstan, in particular, made a proposal to provide children affected in Osh and Jalalabad regions of Kyrgyzstan with treatment in summer camps and centers ", Omarov said.

He said that the Kazakh side made a decision on the admission of 50 children aged 10-15 from Kyrgyzstan in the second decade of July in the children's health center "Tau Samali" (Zhambil region), where children will get treatment, rest and gain strength before the new school year.

"This step is just one of many measures carried out by Kazakhstan in support of the neighboring fraternal country both bilaterally and multilaterally," he said.
