Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko has arrived in Tbilisi tonight.

Ukraine is interested in further development of bilateral relations with Georgia, which is an important regional partner in the Black Sea basin,  Tigipko stated in the Tbilisi airport.

"We now stand at a crossroads and we ere studying the possibility of our economy. In this regard, we are interested in the reforms that have and are being conducted in Georgia and hope to get information about them from our Georgian colleagues,"  he said.

During his two-day visit, Tigipko will met with Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze, Finance Minister Kakha Baindurashvili and National Bank Chairman George Kadagidze.

The meetings are expected to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. The side will exchange views on the European integration processes. Particular attention during the official talks will be given to the experience of Georgia in the implementation of economic liberal reforms.
