EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will visit the Odzisi village today in the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict zone.
She will also study the activities of the EU monitors on the de facto border with South Ossetia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
Aston will meet with EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia head Hansjog Haber. She will also visit the Tserovani village to meet Georgian refugees exiled from South Ossetia.
During his recent visit to Tbilisi, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner demanded the unconditional admission of the monitors into the occupied territories and the withdrawal of Russian troops from those zones.
