Georgia, Tbilisi, July 28 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

The communiqué adopted during the 12-th round of Geneva talks on the settlement in the Caucasus reflects the calm situation in the Georgian conflict zones, despite the numerous arrests.

The document notes that the parties' coordinated actions are required to observe the principle of free movement of citizens, a Georgian delegation participating in the Geneva round of negotiations told Trend.

During debates Russia stressed its position. It is against the submission of the resolution on human rights violations in occupied Abkhazia and South Ossetia to the UN.

EU representative Pierre Morel noted that a similar resolution in the UN has not been made for the first time. It will not interfere with the course of the Geneva talks.

Another round of talks will be held in Geneva October 14.
