A unique residential complex for 10,000 people will soon be built in Astana, the Ak-Orda press service reported. The complex will be constructed to withstand low winter temperatures.

"The complex will soon become the most unique structure in Astana," the press service reported. "A residential settlement with a huge dome will be built with newly implemented infrastructure. The complex will have the same temperature all year round."

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev became familiarized with the project during a visit to a research institute where he studied a master development plan of Astana.

The president also discussed several new facilities soon to be constructed in Astana - a media center, an arts school, and a history museum, the press service reported. The new media center will be equipped with the largest television set in the region corresponding to modern standards.
