Uzbek Legislative Chamber Speaker Dilorom Tashmuhamedova received the Chinese delegation headed by Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Uzbek media reported.
During the talks, the sides noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and China was developing consistently in all areas, including the parliamentary sphere.
The relations between the two countries are developing dynamically in the spirit of the Inter-state treaty on partnership relations of friendship and cooperation, signed during the state visit of President Islam Karimov to China in 2005.
The Chinese delegation visited the state museums of Temurids' history and history of Uzbekistan, as well as Hazrati Imam (Hastimom) complex in the capital.
The Chinese delegation arrived at the invitation of the Uzbek government. Information about the purpose and agenda of the visit is not provided. Following Uzbekistan, the delegation will visit Macedonia, Albania and Kazakhstan.
