The speaker of Georgia's parliament David Bakradze will meet Wednesday with the leader of the Our Georgia-Free Democrats party Irakli Alasania to discuss the new draft of the constitution.

A meeting will be held in the office of state constitutional commission at 4pm (Tbilisi time), the parliament told Trend.

Bakradze said Tuesday that a meeting with representatives of non-parliamentary opposition parties in connection with the constitutional changes was possible. However, he did not name the parties with which he planned to discuss the matter.

Alasania's party said that the meeting would be held on the initiative of the Georgian authorities.
