Moroccan top official: Country interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan (PHOTOS)

Morocco is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan in all fields, the chairman of the House of Representatives of Morocco, Abdul Vahid Ar-Radi, told journalists in Baku.

Morocco is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan in all fields, the chairman of the House of Representatives of Morocco, Abdul Vahid Ar-Radi, told journalists in Baku.

Ar-Radi is on his first official visit to Azerbaijan since Sept.23. The minister will end his visit on Sept.27.

The visit is aimed to strengthen the Azerbaijan -Morocco brotherly relations in the political, economic and social fields, Ar-Radi said.

"Today we need the cooperation and teamwork," he said. "Morocco is working to strengthen international cooperation with the fraternal countries. These are the determining factors in establishing stability and security."

Ar-Radi said Rabat is confident that the cooperation with Azerbaijan, meeting the interests of both countries, will develop successfully.

During his visit, Ar-Radi intends to discuss the parliamentary cooperation. Azerbaijan and Morocco may sign an agreement in this area

The Moroccan delegation headed by Ar-Radi visited the Alley of Honors on Sept.24. Ar-Radi, Azerbaijani Parliamentary First Vice-Speaker Ziyafet Askerov and the other guest laid flowers at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev.  

The guests also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
