Azerbaijani ruling party to attend Int’l Conference of Asian Political Parties

Azerbaijani ruling New Azerbaijan Party will attend the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), the NAP told Trend.
Upon the ICAPP's invitation, the NAP will participate at the meeting of the sixth General Assembly of the organization on the topic "Gifts of Asia for a happy future", to be held from Dec.1 to 4 in Pnompenh, Cambodia.
Cooperation between the NAP and the ICAPP, established in 2000 and brought together the Asian countries' political parties, continues for several years. The NAP, which is active in the ICAPP, was elected a member of the standing committee of the organization in 2009.
NAP was founded in 1992 by former president and national leader Heydar Aliyev when he was chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan. The NAP ideology is based on "Azerbaijanizm," civil solidarity and the values of democracy.
