Lithuania will send a mission to Azerbaijan to observe the parliamentary elections on Nov. 7. The mission will include one representative from the Lithuanian parliament and six representatives from the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas told Trend.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
The observation mission will visit several constituencies in Baku and surrounding areas, monitor the voting process and make a report on the results of its activity, he said.
Kudzmanas also plans to observe the elections.
