The ELS Independent Research Center has completed all of the necessary preparatory work to hold the exit-poll in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, the center said.
ELS has trained interviewers in all of the country's regions. The sessions were also attended by supervisors monitoring their activities. They were taught how to work with the ITC technologies that are being applied in elections in Azerbaijan for the first time.
The center also created a special website that will reflect information about the exit-poll.
All interviewers are provided with the required documents and accessories.
ELS will organize the exit-poll in Azerbaijan's 1,180 constituencies. In each of the 1,180 polling stations, two interviewers will poll voters. Questionnaire will be counted four times per day. The survey will be submitted to the ELS central headquarters.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
