An active voter turnout is observed in the 14th Khazar Constituency 2.
As of 15:00, 61.3 percent of voters (26,764) have participated in the voting, the district election commission head Imran Gambarov told Trend.
Representatives of OSCE, PACE and the CIS Mission observed the voting process in the polling stations, located in the DEC's territory. The voting process was also observed by the CIS Observation Mission head Sergei Lebedev.
Some 359 local observers have been registered on the 14th Khazar Constituency 2. Some 43,663 voters have been registered on this constituency.
The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) reported that 690 candidates are running for parliamentary elections.
Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005.
