Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed on Wednesday a decree approving the Law on living wage in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of preparing proposals on bringing existing legislation into conformity with the Law and submit them to the President within a month, Cabinet Ministers and relevant central executive bodies must ensure compliance of laws and regulations with this law and report the Head of State, as well as resolve other issues arising from this law.
According to the Law on living wage in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2011 adopted by the Parliament, the living cost in the country was approved 95 manat, for working-age population - 102 manat, for pensioners - 72 manat, for children - 76 manat.
