Azerbaijani opposition party plans to increase number of regional organizations

Azerbaijani opposition Adalat Party plans to increase the number of regional organizations, the party's Deputy Chairman Mutallim Rahimli told Trend while speaking about the party's plans for 2011.

"We have no organizations in some regions. We will create new organizations in Shaki, Barda and Siyazan," he added.

Rahimli noted that one of the main tasks faced by the party in 2011 was to participate in forming electoral commissions.

According to him, the party planned "to take part in forming district election commissions and constituencies, the Central Election Commission as a party."

Azerbaijani Adalat Party was established in 1993 and joined the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) in 1996. Adalat restored its functioning after separating from Democratic Party in 2000. Since 2001, MP Ilyas Ismaylov has been the chairman of the party.
