Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan.24 / Trend M. Aliyev Azerbaijan will attend discussions on the establishment of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of Euronest, the Azerbaijani parliament said on Saturday.
This issue will be discussed next week in Brussels at a meeting of the extended bureau of the European Parliament delegation to the organization Euronest, which will be attended by Parliamentary Legal Policy and State Building Committee Chairman Ali Huseynov.
The meeting will be attended by heads of Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia's delegations to Euronest.
The meeting will also discuss the results of the Eastern Partnership program.
Euronest is an interparliamentary format of cooperation within the EU Eastern Partnership program, which envisages six post-Soviet countries - Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and Armenia's political and economic rapprochement with the EU.
Presumably, the Euronest PA should include 120 MPs: 60 from EU and 10 from each of the Eastern Partnership member countries.
