Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov offered his condolences to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for the numerous victims of the recent terrorist attack at the Domodedovo airport, the Turkmen government said.
"Strongly condemning terrorism and extremism in all forms and manifestations, Turkmenistan fully supports global efforts to counter and eliminate this evil," the Turkmen leader said in his letter to Medvedev.
The Turkmen leader expressed wishes of fortitude and strength to the president and encouragement and empathy to the families of those killed and injured.
A blast took place in the arrival hall of the Moscow airport on Jan. 24 at 4:32 p.m.
According to eyewitnesses, the bomb was exploded by a suicide bomber. Roughly 35 people died and 200 were injured. Roughly 116 people were hospitalized.
