Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations visited Korea.
A delegation headed by Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, paid an official visit to Korea at the invitation of the head of the Korean National Emergency Management Agency Seong Ryong Choi on April 28-29, the ministry told Trend.
The head of the Korean National Emergency Management Agency and a delegation of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations met.
The issues of further development of the cooperation between the two organizations were discussed at the meeting.
The issues on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the sphere of emergency management between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Korean National Emergency Management Agency, signed in Seoul on April 23, 2007, were considered.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation familiarized with the activities of several organizations under the Korean National Emergency Management Agency.
Several meetings were held with Korean companies engaged in producing various equipment to prevent emergency situations and eliminate their consequences.
