The opposition Georgian Party led by Ex- Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili will today begin large-scale protests to change the government.
The first rally will be held in the Kakheti region on the Day of Victory over fascism, the party told Trend.
Before the rallies, party leaders and protesters will give tribute to victims of WWII and lay wreaths at the memorial at Vake Park and in the Patardzeuli and Gurjaani villages.
Following rallies in the Kakheti region, the party will hold similar events in other regions throughout the country.
